The parishioners of St. Michael and St. Nicholas churches were honored to receive a visit on Good Friday 2018 from our Bishop Kurt Burnette of the Eparchy of Passaic, New Jersey. Below are some of the highlights of his pastoral visit.
Along with Bishop Kurt, we thank Rev. Nathaneal Block, from the Diocese of Gallup, N.M, visiting from Washington, DC.; and Rev. Michael J. Kuchera, S.J., professor on the Oriental Canon Law Faculty of the Pontifical Oriental Institute. We thank them for their help especially in the absence of our pastor, Very Rev. Gary Mensinger who was on medical leave at this time. We thank our Deacon Larry Worlinsky, all of our altar servers, cantors, and choir members for serving at the multiple services and Liturgies throughout Lent, Holy Week, and Paschal Liturgies. May God grant all many blessed years ! Together with volunteers in each parish who helped in preparation of the Bishop’s visit, all who assisted in every role and manner for their gracious support.
